1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how AffirmVoice (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the AffirmVoice mobile application (“App”).

2. Information you provide

• Affirmation text you enter (e.g., your personal affirmations).
• Voice recordings you create in the App.
• Preferences such as reminder times, language, playback settings, and premium status.

By default, this information is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, local data may be removed depending on your device settings and backups.

3. Device permissions

• Microphone: required to record your voice.
• Notifications: optional; used to send morning/bedtime reminders you configure.

You can enable/disable these permissions in your device settings at any time.

4. How we use information

• To provide core features (create/edit affirmations, record/play audio, reminders).
• To maintain your listening statistics (e.g., daily/total counts) on-device.
• To operate premium features (repeat playback, detailed statistics, TTS, and ad-free mode) when unlocked.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

5. Ads (if enabled)

AffirmVoice may display ads in the free version. Ads may be served by third-party partners (for example, Google AdMob). These partners may collect or receive device identifiers and limited technical information (such as IP address, device type, and ad interaction events) to show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud.

6. Analytics (optional)

If we enable analytics in the future, we will use it to understand app performance (e.g., crashes, basic usage). Analytics providers may collect device and event data. We will not intentionally collect the content of your affirmations or your recordings for analytics.

7. In-app purchases

If you purchase Premium, the transaction is processed by the app store provider (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not receive your full payment card details. The store may provide us with purchase status and product identifiers to unlock Premium features and support restore purchases.

8. Text-to-Speech (TTS)

If you use the Premium calm voice playback (TTS), the App uses system or platform TTS capabilities. Depending on your device and settings, TTS may be processed on-device or by platform services. We do not send your affirmations to our own servers for TTS.

9. Data retention

Affirmation text, recordings, and statistics are generally retained on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. You can delete affirmations and related data from within the App.

10. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:

• Service providers (e.g., ad networks, analytics, crash reporting) only as needed to operate the App.
• Legal/Compliance when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

11. Children’s privacy

AffirmVoice is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Your choices

• Disable notifications in device settings.
• Delete affirmations/recordings inside the App.
• Disable tracking/ads personalization where supported by your device settings.

13. International users

Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect your data consistent with this Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
